The Church Based Committee works to mobilize and resource local church leadership in ministering to college students, and to provide church ministry & campus ministry (BCM, BSU, BSM, etc.) partnership models and opportunities. We are currently working to help resource churches doing College Ministry, whether they are serving 8 or 800.
Check out a few great things we want you to know about:
College Metro // The College Metro Conference serves as an opportunity for church-based college leaders and their spouses to be encouraged and equipped for better ministry. Whether you’re a college pastor, college ministry staff, small group leader, Sunday school teacher, or volunteer, we’d love to have you join us. We will worship together and learn together through seminars, roundtable discussions, and top-notch speakers, and we’ll have ample time for the unplanned conversations, idea-sharing, and networking that provide immense value in gatherings like these! You can also learn more about our annual conference on our facebook page.
SBC Campus Connect // Please provide our nation’s BCM Directors with the name and contact information of the High School Seniors from your church. You can do so by entering their name, contact information and collegiate choice into sbccampusconnect.net which is our SBC transitions website. The information will be provided to the BCM Director of the college the student will attend.
