God is moving in Arizona! This year, Challenge AZ is partnered with 20 local churches reaching out to 24 college campuses. There are 35 missionaries spearheading these ministries. Below is an update from Ellie Lambert, Campus Missionary at Arizona State University’s downtown campus.
“At the end of 2025, I celebrated 5 years of serving with Christian Challenge as a collegiate missionary!
When I started my college journey, I had no idea the Lord would call me into vocational ministry, but I am so thankful for his intentional and careful direction in my life. Through Challenge I have been able to cultivate a lifestyle of living out the gospel, sharing Christ’s love with others and raising up leaders for his church.
This semester we have a student leadership team of eight: one senior, three juniors, three sophomores and one freshmen. Together they are leading two small group bible studies on campus as they dive verse-by-verse into the book of Genesis. Please be praying for our leaders and these intentional small group studies.
One leader I have had the pleasure of growing close to in discipleship and development is Rhiannon. (Above is a photo of Rhiannon and I at tabling.) Rhiannon was a brand new believer when I first met her freshman year. Since then she has grown exponentially in her faith and enjoys discipling other girls, sharing the gospel with anyone she meets on campus, leading bible studies and organizing missions projects. It is clear the Lord has placed a call to ministry on her heart and she has been working closely with me to take on some of my role as a missionary. Praise God for her faith and growth! It is a true joy to watch as the Lord uses our ministry to mobilize servants for his kingdom!”
