We’re happy to report that our Baptist Collegiate Ministry family in Texas has weathered the Hurricane Harvey storm, and no homes or BSMs have been reported as destroyed. However, these groups will need your prayers and help for months to come.
When it comes to disaster relief efforts, we know that it will be a marathon, and not a sprint. The needs will be great for months and years to come. As a collegiate ministry family, let’s be in it to help for the long haul, and not just while it is a news headline.
For Baptist Collegiate Ministries across the country and beyond who would like to assist immediately and all year long, opportunities are available for your groups to plan at least one weekend trip this school year to assist with disaster relief and restoration efforts. Below is some general information, compiled by Brenda Sanders, Collegiate Ministries Consultant with Texas Baptists, that will be essential to your planning. For additional questions, Brenda’s contact information is below.
