We will share the love and hope of God to those who live, work, and play in the Great Smoky Mountains area of Tennessee. We will organize, lead, and participate in ministry in the midst of major attractions, special events, and campgrounds. You’ll NEVER be bored!
Requirements
- Must have completed 1 year of college
- Willingness to Serve
- Comfortable Public Speaking
Additional Details
Students will work as a team to plan, organize, and conduct worship services, weekly meals for international students, special events, and day camps in campgrounds. Students will live in community with their team in Gatlinburg, just minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Students are permitted to bring their vehicles and will be reimbursed for mileage when used for ministry purposes. Houseparents live alongside students to provide emotional and spiritual support to students, along with preparing meals daily. Students will be provided with a stipend.
Spiritual Development
Students will have daily interaction with leadership. They will participate weekly in team meetings, sermon prep with a local pastor, submit weekly reports reviewed by leadership, and meet one on one with leaders to check on goals, spiritual and mental wellbeing.
Housing
Students will live together in a house with houseparents to supervise daily living. All food will be provided and house parents will prepare meals. Students may bring personal cars and will be reimbursed for ministry milage. A ministry van is available for the team
